Operations Director

Stockport School of Gymnastics (SSoG) is delighted to announce the appointment of Louise Richardson as Operations Director, reporting to the Managing Director and responsible for the running of the sites at Newby Road and Offerton. Louise will also be responsible for the competitive side of SSoG as well as the general classes. Louise spent over 20 years working in various senior roles at Stockport Council and recently stood down as Chair of Stockport College following its merger with Trafford College to form the Trafford College Group.

Louise’s interests include listening to music and singing in her church choir.

Louise has been associated with SSoG for more than 20 years, initially as a gymnast parent and then as Treasurer, Secretary, coach and Head Judge leaving to support her daughters in their chosen sport of hockey.

“I’m looking forward to making a positive contribution to SSoG after an absence of 15 years. There is so much potential to develop the club, not only with the performance competitively, but with the expansion of the business to offer more classes and community involvement.”
