Bev’s Party

Bev thought she was going out with a few of the committee for a meal to celebrate her retirement. How wrong could she be, as when she arrived at Platform 5 there were a large number of her ex-gymnasts and their parents as well as coaches, committee and SSoG staff all ready to party. It was a surprise and a great opportunity for her to catch up with how her girls had moved on.

A big thanks to Fiona and Laura, masterminds of the event, with flowers, presents and a buffet to entertain all who attended. I’m guessing there were not far off 100 there.

Bev will still be around the gym, both as a customer (7 grandchildren to entertain) and covering sessions when coaches are away. We wish her a happy retirement and a massive thanks for the development of the Newby Rd facility over the past 5 years.
