We returned to work last week after a lovely extended break but have been back in the warehouse packing down before we have to vacate. So please accept our apologies in the delay in sending this email.

On behalf of Hits Radio Manchester Cash for Kids I just wanted to say a huge thank you for being a drop-off point for our Mission Christmas campaign! We are so pleased to share with you that with your help collecting gifts, we were able to give 35,746 underprivileged children in Greater Manchester presents to open on Christmas morning!!

Mission Christmas is more than just presents, it’s giving hope, letting the children know someone cares and allowing them to still believe in the magic of Christmas. One mum rang us in tears after we gave her a bag full of gifts for her daughter saying “This is something she could only dream of having. We have food and clothes but toys cannot be a priority when we’re struggling to survive our day to day. Thank you Cash for Kids and everyone who cared enough to donate!”….

We also heard from another parent who said “When you just want to close the curtains and pretend Christmas isn’t happening to the kids, you changed that for us, thank you so much.”

We really can’t thank you enough for helping us to make so many local children’s dreams come true- we really couldn’t do what we do without the help of people like you!
