Greater Manchester 

4 Piece Championships 2007

This was the first 4 piece competition run by the GMGA and it attracted more than 100 gymnasts. We entered girls in the Novice and Level 4 competition, unfortunately a number pulled out due to injury and being away on holiday. So we ended up with just 6 SSoG gymnasts. We started out with 7 but Louise Costigan landed awkwardly doing a Cat Leap Full and had to be taken to Hospital to have it looked at. Ligament damage was diagnosed and Louise will be out of the gym for a few weeks.

The competition was run at Fit City in Ordsall, Salford on 12/13th May.

We did win some medals. a bronze for Shush on the bars, bronze on Bars and Vault for Stevie and a gold on Floor and a silver on Vault for Laura.

Vicki and Berit were our judges and Berit was on hand to give first aid to Louise.
