The first NW Gymfest took place on Sunday 20th March at Eastlands in Manchester and Lyndsay took a group of SSoG 2 Piece gymnasts to perform a floor display choreographed by Abbie Wylie.  This is the first running of the Festival and will be repeated next year.

It was a really good event, I think the girls enjoyed the fact that it was all about showing off and having fun, and was non-competitive, so no pressure! There were some amazing displays from tiny tots to adults, including some fantastic trampolining! It was nice to see gymnasts from all over the North West, with some very creative routines, and costumes! All the girls got a medal for participat-ing which was presented by the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Mark Hackett (who seemed to enjoy himself, even joining in with the odd Mexican wave!!).
