Novice and Out of Age Championship 2006

The competition was held on the weekend of 2nd/3rd December in the Robin Park Arena in Wigan. This is the main event for out of age gymnasts in the region and SSoG entered gymnasts in the Novice and out of age Level 4 competitions. The number of entries was reduced this year due to injuries, holidays and in the younger age group, not having got their upstart in.

Scores are as below in a new format that allows you to see the scores from all of the judging panels. The A panel is essentially the start value, a maximum of 5.5 for Novice and the B panel marks out of 10.

The top gymnast from SSoG was Stevie Taylor in the Level 4 out of age competition with medals on the Vault and Bars and Silver overall. Stevie will move up to Level 3 in 2007.

Our other medalist was Louise Mayo, Silver on the Vault in her first 4 piece. Congratulations to both girls.
