Recreational Advanced Classes 5+
The Recreational Advanced Classes at SSoG are by invite only and are for children who have mastered the skills they are working towards in their recreational classes. In this class, gymnasts will be learning more advanced skills on all 4 pieces of apparatus, such as tumbling on the floor.
Use will be made of our very own SHINE Award Scheme, to help gymnasts increase their confidence, remain active and form strong friendships along the way. Skills are developed naturally, although the SHINE Scheme will also be used as a basis for progression and reward.
The SHINE Scheme will allow the gymnasts to build on what they have already learned and will allow the gymnasts to prepare for other events such as displays, in-house Competitions, external Competitions, and potentially being mentored as a young coach.
The Recreational Advanced Classes are on a Tuesday from 6.00pm to 7.30pm and Wednesday 6.15pm-7.45pm . We also run Advanced classes on a Saturday from 2.00pm-3.30pm. The cost is £9.85 per session, payable monthly by direct debit.
There is a membership fee for SSoG, which is £10.00 for the 12 months from October. This will be billed in September.
