Update from BG

We received the following from BG yesterday, which looks promising. Pleased note that this is an ‘earliest date’, but we are getting closer to getting back to classes and training.

‘On Wednesday evening this week at its daily public briefing, the UK Government communicated an aim for community sport to return at the beginning of July at the earliest.

This is excellent news for our member clubs, and we cannot wait to see you open your doors and get back to the sport we love. We now wait for the publication of specific government guidelines. Clubs will have to meet these guidelines to ensure a safe return for the gymnastics community. All clubs now have a timeline of early July to work towards, and as outlined in our Step Forward Plan which includes a comprehensive toolkit, we will be supporting you all the way.

Once the UK Government releases these guidelines and gives an exact date clubs can open their doors, we will confirm this immediately to our member clubs.’
