Stockport School of Gymnastics Club

Our club offers training for competitive gymnastics, currently with over 35 female gymnasts between the ages of 6 and 16

Membership to the squad is by invitation only, based on assessments in our increasingly popular recreational classes at both our Newby Road and Offerton Gymnastics Centres. Gymnasts who are seen to have potential in these classes are invited for a trial period in our club squad.

We will also accept transfers from other gymnastics clubs if we have sufficient coaching resource to accommodate them.

All gymnasts aim towards competing at Grade 14 in-age when they become old enough, and then moving through the BDP Club Grades, or moving to the BDP National or Elite Compulsory Grades if able.

Our gymnasts compete in a number of 2-piece and 4-piece competitions across Greater Manchester and the North West

All of our squad gymnasts are members of British Gymnastics and North West Gymnastics
